Commercial Contracts Finance Manager

The Permanent Division of Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for a Commercial Contracts Finance Manager on behalf of a large services business with a presence in Milton Keynes.

The Role

As Commercial Contracts Finance Manager you will work in a leadership position to lead sustainable financial growth by taking ownership of the financial strategy, controls and management information for one specific Business Unit and Core Account. You will provide insight and influence to impact performance and maintain a competitive advantage. Day to day duties will consist of developing strong financial controls, policies and procedures; consistent review, maintenance and improvement of cash-flow, margins and reporting; preparation of accurate business unit reports in line with the monthly company timetable including profit and loss analysis and commentary; project profitability reporting, analysis and annual plans; reporting to the business unit managers and divisional management; develop and manage the contract support team including recruiting, inducting, managing, motivating and developing; monthly formal contract and business unit reviews; financial and contract support and direction to the business unit and offering insight and advice to senior management with regards to performance.

Your Profile

You will be a Qualified Accountant with a strong management accounting and analytical skillset with the ability to work cross functionally across a range of stakeholders within the business and externally with customers. You industry exposure will ideally be from a Service or Contract led environment where there is a strong customer focus whilst working towards year on year growth. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a leadership position and be responsible for the ongoing growth and development of your own division.
