The Opportunity:

  • Management, control & development of the Business Analyst section (4 direct reports) of the Finance Department and provision of managerial support to the UK business.
  • Function as the lead Finance Business Partner to support and advise all Business Unit Committee’s, Operational Management and the Senior Management Team on a range of financial issues.
  • Ownership and leadership of all planning and forecasting processes facing off to the business and Executive.
  • Responsible for month end close and preparation of the month end management reports
  • Proactive in developing the quality of MI and financial processes.
  • Lead in the development of financial systems and related interfaces.
  • Substantial role in driving or supporting a wide range of business development projects, usually working in cross-functional teams to provide your expertise and energy.
  • Ensure strong control regime with direct relationship to group compliance function.
  • Provide cover for Finance Director and Financial Controller.
  • Significant opportunity to develop role, exposure and provide succession planning for more senior posts.

You Will Be:

  • A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  • Experienced in managing people.
  • Good exposure to a manufacturing environment including knowledge of standard costing.
  • Commercially astute with a proven willingness to challenge colleagues and form effective working relationships.
  • Skilled in Excel and IT systems (confident extracting and manipulating data).
  • Able to present information in a succinct and engaging way.
  • Passionate about driving improvement and commercial outcomes.
