Accountant

Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA is sought by an international Basingstoke client on a 6 month temporary basis.


Your new company
You will join a successful international business who have experienced exciting change in recent years. The role will join a small finance team and will support the team with both financial and management accounting.

Your new role
The role will involve variance analysis, month end reporting, budgeting / forecasting, analysis, accruals, prepayments, complex reconciliations and ad hoc duties as required.

It will include:

• Assisting with the budget process
• Assisting with the month end process
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Revenue reconciliations
• Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenue and expenditure for projects
• Assisting with the Year End process - statutory packs, tax pack and audit files
• Ad hoc duties as needed

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a qualified Accountant with strong Excel skills. The ideal applicant will be able to interview and start their next role quickly. This role is expected to run for an initial 6 month period but there could be scope for the role to become permanent for the right person in the longer term.
