Audit & Assurance Manager

Our client is a prestigious establishment and has developed some of the leading professionals within the accountancy arena - they also have a firm global presence and steeped in history. There is now an exciting opportunity for an Audit & Assurance Manager to join the organisation and work within a strategic department.

The role will be based in Central London, but depending on experience can also have the flexibility to occasionally work from home. The Audit & Assurance Manager will report into the Head of Department and the overall purpose of the role will be to prepare high quality technical information around audit and develop leading edge thinking on important technical issues.

As the Audit & Assurance Manager - the incumbent will be expected to take a leading role with audit projects which will involve partnering activities with internal and external parties; there will be the opportunity to write topical technical material which will be used at events, as well as being published in publications which have a UK-wide reach.

The ideal applicant will be confident, self-motivated and a good communicator with an inquiring, interrogative mind. You will have proven experience in managing a wide ranging portfolio of initiatives to deadlines and be able to write thought-provoking and appealing material for a variety of platforms including digital. Our client requires a Chartered Accountant with a strong audit and/or assurance background. This opportunity will suit an individual who wants to move away from travelling to clients up and down the country, and would rather be in-house operating at a strategic level with like minded professionals.
