Finance Director

Our client, a leading international food manufacturer, is recruiting a Finance Director for a fast growing division. Reporting to the Managing Director and a key member of the senior management team, you will manage all aspects of finance including support for commercial decision making, operational performance and financial reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities include: Full responsibility for the management, leadership and development of the finance function and all financial matters; Working closely with Commercial and Operations Directors to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and drive performance levels; Business partnering the Managing Director to achieve strategic objectives through effective commercial decision making; Working closely with group functions to improve processes, implement best practice and develop systems capability.

To apply, you must be a fast track finance leader with a breadth of experience in the food manufacturing environment. You will have the ability to drive operational efficiency to achieve improved profitability and to support key commercial decisions through effective analysis and clear recommendation. You will be capable of supporting senior leaders across all functions and developing trusting relationships with stakeholders in order to deliver projects and objectives in agreed timescales.

This role represents an excellent opportunity for a Head of Finance / No 2 to move into their first Finance DIrector position.
