Finance Director

A leading manufacturer with a global presence is looking to recruit a Finance Director to lead activity across its EMEA regions. Based in North Wales with a view across Europe, Middle East and Africa the company is going through a distinct period of change including the design and implementation of new controls, systems and processes.

The key responsibilities of the Finance Director - EMEA role will include:

• Lead, manage and motivate a team spread across diverse geographies
• Support Global finance team in delivery of the divisional finance agenda
• Ensure EMEA finance is fit for purpose - driving improvements in the actuals reporting processes
• Ensure all finance processes are fit for purpose including intercompany flows (resales journals, recharges, VAT)
• Work with IT to ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
• Managing the monthly reporting process
• Ensure finance controls are in place and fit for purpose
• Managing the statutory reporting process (including tax)
• Lead a process to ensure EMEA finance is appropriately prepared for a SAP roll out
• Stock, cash and inventory management
• Work with Group Treasury to ensure foreign exchange exposure is appropriately hedged
• Manufacturing finance and overall cost control

You will have:

• Previous Finance Director experience with full P&L accountability
• Track record of driving improvement to finance process
• Experience of working with disparate systems and geographies
• Experience of IT systems implementation
