Commercial Finance Manager

A new opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Manager who is sought to join a busy and pro-active team in this successful marketing business. New strategic initiatives mean that this is an exciting time to join and working alongside the Financial Accounts team and closely with the business puts you in the unique position of bringing those two together.

As Commercial Finance Manager you will head up a small team of commercial management accountants (2) and also be responsible for the overall month-end and forecast reporting.  You will work closely with the FD but also the Commercial Director (CD) and the Head of Business Development (HoBD) in preparing rolling forecasts, month-end reports and ad hoc analysis.

The benefits package is attractive and includes a car allowance of £400 per month, 27 days holiday, an on-site gym and free parking.

Previous supervisory / managerial experience is essential and we would expect you to have been responsible for the professional development of your team in the past and be able to demonstrate at interview how you would approach your role as coach and mentor alongside your own technical reporting responsibilities.

Month end reports and preparation of reports requested by Auditors and other external parties will form the basis of your role initially and this will also include leading the annual budget process as your business knowledge develops.

Ideally you will have an ACA (or similar) qualification and be able to demonstrate at interview your confidence, drive, effective interpersonal skills and  give an overall aura of personal credibility and integrity.
