Alexander Daniels is currently partnering with a leading, household name firm in Northamptonshire for the recruitment of an Interim Senior Finance Analyst. This is a varied, commercial role in a firm of remarkable stature, which offers a fast paced and exciting environment alongside support and development.

My client is a large, listed plc with an instantly recognisable brand and a significant product range. In addition to having performed well historically, the firm has enjoyed particular success in the last few years, both as the result of new strategies and an improvement in market factors. The firm places an emphasis on quality, but balances this with a healthy atmosphere of encouragement and friendliness.

This is an inherently commercial role in which you will tangibly impact upon key decisions to ensure the firm achieves its commercial targets, remains profitable, and continues to dominate its market. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing key financial detail to deliver insightful commentary on profitability, expenditure, and determine the market factors affecting financial growth.
  • Effectively establishing relationships with key stakeholders across the breadth of the organisation.
  • Undertaking a degree of routine month end and management accounts.
  • Utilising and developing models to predict growth and contribute to the formulation of business plans.

We are looking for a fully ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with extensive analytical experience. Proficiency in business planning and the ability to utilise and adapt financial models would be advantageous, although not essential. You must be a strong communicator and able to influence. On offer is a day rate of up to £250 per day. The contract will initially last for six months, with the potential to be extended.
