Financial Accountant

I have a fantastic opportunity to join a British Multinational for an interim basis of initial six months. The need for a Finance Manager has arisen as the business goes through single largest accounting change in recent years into the day-to-day operations This is one of the most significant change programmes in the business.

The role involves a high degree of interaction with Senior Stakeholders, the Group External Reporting team, other Finance and Commercial teams in the business, External Consultants and the Finance Transformation team. The role offers a great opportunity to increase exposure across the group. You will be the key point of contact for the driving the response to the new IFRS 15 standard and ensuring the successful adoption of the Implementation Project across the Business. This will include supporting key strategic and operational decisions that will be required in order to lead the development and implementation of the IFRS15 accounting policy

This role will suit a strong technical accountant who has qualified in practice and since moved into a technical accounting role within a PLC. This role is on an interim basis and therefore only candidates on a maximum of two weeks' notice can be considered.
