Finance Business Partner 

The Consultancy Group are currently recruiting a Finance Business Partner for an International Retail business based in London. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance, this Finance Business Partner role will partner with the Retail Director and Field teams and provide the focus to drive profitable growth. The role will be responsible for managing 2 direct reports.

Duties will include;

* Support and challenge, providing guidance and insights to improve performance
* Periodic meetings with Retail Director to explain performance and highlight key opportunities and risks with recommendations for any corrective action
* Preparation of timely, robust Budgets, periodic reforecasting of complete P&L, assets and EBITDA for whole of Retail & franchise
* Review profitability and margin of safety by Store and proactively provide insights and benchmarking which explain and compare/contrast performance
* Support decision making on future role of the store given market shift to online
* Provide financial analysis for franchise expansion including modelling of new business terms and new business models
* Prepare robust business cases with sensitivity and risk for new investment areas including capital, headcount, new business initiatives
* Financial modelling and scenario planning for decision making
* Budgeting and forecasting channel store P&L's, assets and cashflow
* Strategic financial planning
* Provide robust and relevant reporting with key productivity measures which drive better performance
* Ownership and accountability of periodic management reporting including variance analysis, KPI reporting and commentary

This is a highly commercial role and as such requires an ACA / CIMA Qualified with significant post-qualification experience gained in the Retail Sector / FMCG (this is a pre-requisite).

The successful candidate will have demonstrable strategic finance experience with proven analytical capability. They will have Advanced Excel and Modelling skills and be used to presenting financial information to senior stakeholders. Attention to detail and accuracy is of paramount importance.
