Project Accountant
We are currently recruiting a 6 month Project Accountant contract working with one of Europe's largest construction project based in Central London. This is a Business Partnering role to support the project delivery teams in control and reporting of the capital investment programme.
Candidates should be confident and credible when working with senior managers and third parties. They should also be a strong communicator, able to convey financial information in a clear, structured manner.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
*Developing and maintaining accounting procedures to deliver integrity of costs, forecasts and budgets
*Developing and maintaining budgetary control over the project/s by reporting variances, utilisation and risks/opportunities to the business managers in an appropriate format and in a timely manner
*Preparing financial reports and analysis of construction costs and associated KPIs
*Working with project delivery teams and Project Controls to establish robust cost control and reporting
*
The ideal candidate will have:
*Relevant professional accounting qualification (CA, ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
*Excellent analytical skills and academic record
*Experience with Projects and/or Management Accounting
*Commercial awareness
