Management Accountant - Slough - Permanent - up to £40,000 + Study + Benefits


My client is a long-established firm based in Slough. They are currently seeking an experienced part-qualified, experienced Management Accountant to join their Team on a permanent basis.

This is a business facing role which will require interaction with non-finance Managers to assist and develop strong internal controls and processes.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Accountant will undertake full management accounting duties.

Responsibilities include:
*Producing the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
*Implement metrics to monitor and measure performance against budgets
*Assist in producing budgets & re-forecasts
*Analysis of results with cost centre managers performing sales analysis and variance analysis
*Review and update standard costs for materials, labour and overheads
*Ad-hoc reporting duties to support the FC & FD

Candidate Specification:
*Actively studying - preferably CIMA or ACCA
*Over 2 years in a similar, responsible Management Accounts role
*Experience within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage
*Experience in operating integrated accounting ledgers along with advanced excel skills
*Self-starter who can both direct work requirements and provide attention to detail
*Self-motivated and pro-active approach to work
*Display a commitment to getting the job done in accordance with deadlines
*Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate financial information to internal stakeholders
*Strong time-management skills and comfortable with working to deadlines
