Finance Manager

My client, a customer orientated wholesale organisation, is seeking an Accountant to come on board due to their rapid growth, and to accommodate their continued growth plans. This position will be reporting directly into the company directors and will be responsible for supervising the credit control, sales ledger, and purchase ledger teams.

This will be a full time role, with hours of work being 8:30 - 5 Monday - Thursday and 8:30 - 4 on Friday.

• Production of monthly management accounts - profit and loss/balance sheet
• Monthly journals
• Accruals/prepayments
• Depreciation/fixed assets
• Stock reconciliation
• Bank reconciliation
• Cash flow forecasts
• Budgets
• Foreign currency
• Letters of credit
• Payments
• Agent commissions
• Oversee credit control/purchase and sales ledger
• Payroll
• Vat returns
• EC sales returns
• Weekly/monthly reports for director
• Pegasus system experience would be advantageous

Ideal candidates will come from an SME background, and be willing to get involved in all areas of finance.
