THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap is delighted to be working with a leading business in the centre of Leeds, looking for a Financial Controller to head up the team.

The business has grown significantly over the last few years now creating a vacancy for someone to head up the finance team.

THE JOB:

As Financial Controller you will be responsible for leading the finance team and looking after the finances for the business. Your duties will include:

  • Managing the preparation of monthly financial information including management accounts and VAT packs.
  • Reviewing monthly payroll
  • Preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
  • Line management for transactional staff.
  • Monitoring cashflow and overseeing credit control.

You will be the most senior member of the finance team and will report into the Managing Director. You will be responsible for leading and motivating the team, so previous man management experience is essential. Experience of a Sage package would also be beneficial.

THE PERSON:

You will be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience and have had previous experience working in a similar role. This is an exciting time to join the business and will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity for the right person.
