Our Client is a developer and operator of private rental homes in the UK.  Backed by long-term institutional capital with a very strong management team, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation reporting to the Finance Director.  The successful candidate is likely to be a numerate graduate and have at least three years cashflow forecasting and modelling experience.

Job Description:
  • Dynamic discounted cashflow modelling for current projects
  • Appraisal modelling of new opportunities for the land department
  • Debt term modelling
  • Financial analysis of miscellaneous asset management initiatives
  • Monitoring and reporting of ongoing project performance against forecast
  • Liaising with all departments (Land, development, construction and operations) to ensure accuracy of inputs across the full project lifecycle
  • Maintaining and updating corporate level forecasts and asset overviews
  • Forecasting ongoing short term and long term equity requirements
  • Liaising with investors
  • Preparation of data and presentations for external lenders
  • Assist with reporting to external lenders
  • Involved in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan
  • Involved in the ongoing development and preparation of quarterly management reporting pack for the Group and implementing quarterly performance measures
  • Involved in the preparation of periodic management reporting packs
  • Preparation of the monthly cash flow report in conjunction with the Finance Manager
  • Help to develop, improve and implement internal financial systems and controls to support business growth
Skills/Experience:
  • Strategic cashflow forecasting and modelling experience
  • 3 years minimum analyst experience
  • University level graduate in economics/mathematics/finance
  • Possess strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Advanced excel
  • Proactive and adaptable,  able to develop with the company as developments move into operational phase
  • Strong communication skills across all levels
  • Property development experience preferred but not essential
