Finance Director

Our client is an extremely successful IT services business that has recently attracted private equity investment and is on an ambitious growth trajectory.  In order to fulfil the growth ambition there is a requirement for a new Finance Director.  This role will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for managing a team of around 30 colleagues as well as working closely with other departments.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a B2B highly transactional commercial environment and will have the interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate at a senior level within the organisation.  This would be an ideal career move for a finance professional who may have been in a divisional role previously but is looking to get high level Group experience and be exposed to banking arrangements, Investor and Stakeholder Relationships and strategic decision making in order to move into a stand-alone CFO role later in his/her career. The role has a mix of internal and external facing responsibilities such as managing all aspects of the finance function as well as working closely with providers, customers and end-users to enhance the business offering.
