Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant following a recent restructuring and strengthening of its Financial Accounts function.
As Senior Financial Accountant you will lead and manage the Trust’s Financial Accounts team. This includes all aspects of the financial services function, final accounts closure, monthly reporting and day to day management of the Financial Accounts team. You will also play a key role in the Trusts forthcoming migration to NHS Shared Services.
The Senior Financial Accountant will be a technically competent, strategic thinking Qualified Accountant with excellent management skills and a proven track record of financial leadership and performance, within an NHS or comparable organisation.
The ability to interpret complex financial concepts and information to non-financial managers is essential, as is the ability to show initiative. Excellent IT skills and communication skills are also crucial.
