This newly acquired UK market leader is looking to add to the senior management in Hampshire with the appointment of a Finance Manager.
Working alongside the General Manager with a dotted line to the CFO, your brief will be to deliver on ambitious plans for further growth.
As well as assuming responsibility for the sound fiscal management and statutory reporting of your business, you can also expect to undertake the following;
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts and Management Information pack to PLC reporting deadlines complete with trend analysis and explanations of variances to forecast, budget and prior year
- Assessment of customer and product profitability on an ongoing basis
- Finance lead on the preparation of quotes for new business
- Implement internal control systems and adopt proper policies for financial reporting. Review existing processes and procedures to reduce complexity where possible.
As the successful candidate, you will be a qualified Accountant with strong interpersonal and analytic skills gained in an SME environment, ideally within a subsidiary of a larger Group where the ability to deliver to tight deadlines is essential.
You will be an excellent communicator with strong influencing skills,as well as being well organised with the proven ability to multi-task.
