Part Time Bookkeeper
A part time job opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant working 25 - 32 hours per week.
Your new company
An award winning, family owned construction business based in Perry Barr who have been established for over 50 years. They are based in comfortable and modern offices located near to public transport links. They are now looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the company accountant and working within a team of 3. You will be responsible for; maintaining the purchase ledger using Sage 50, complex query resolution, assisting with credit control duties, jobcosting on Sage Accounts, weekly payroll for 25 employees/subcontractors, preparing CIS payments and issuing CIS monthly certificates. You will be required to work 8am - 5pm on a daily basis over 3 or 4 days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working within a similar role and ideally will have an understanding of CIS although this isn't essential. You will be computer literate with an understanding of Sage and Microsoft Office. You will be a good communicator with both customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
