Credit Controller

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a forward thinking, ambitious service sector organisation in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has seen year on year growth.

THE JOB:

The main purpose of the roles is to manage a designated section of the Sales Ledger, ensuring that any overdue debt is collected in the most timely and efficient manner. Daily, weekly & monthly planning is essential to ensure cover of the ledgers at all times.

Reporting to the Credit Manager duties will include, but not limited to:

Ensuring sales ledger debt is paid to terms
Ensuring payments are received in accordance with SLA's
Telephoning & corresponding with customers in accordance with credit control policy/standards
Ensuring workflow is completed each day, ensuring any un-actioned accounts are escalated to the Line Manager by the end of the day
Interaction with internal customers on contractual & customer facing issues
Ensuring that sales ledger information is complete, accurate and current in respect of:
Cash receipts and credit notes correctly allocated/matched
Customer contact details are kept up to date
Diary note entries comply with company diary note guidelines
Account reconciliations actioned same day
Query Resolution complies with company query guidelines
Debtor Reporting to Line Manager

THE PERSON:

At least 2 years' credit control experience within a corporate environment is essential
Must be educated to GCSE standard including Maths and English
The ability to work under pressure and meet dealines is essential
You must have excellent communication skills
Good IT skills required including working knowledge of Excel
