Treasury Manager (Middle Office)

£60,000 + 20% Bonus

A highly successful Challenger Bank is looking to recruit a Treasury Manager. This high growth business feature in The Times Top 100 Companies to Work For and have undergone significant expansion in recent years. This is an exciting time to join the management team, influence, challenge and make a real difference. With succession planning firmly in mind, within time this will lead to a Head Of role for the right individual.
The successful candidate does not need to have worked specifically in middle office treasury previously. You may be working in back office treasury, or you may have general accounting exposure within a banking environment with some exposure to treasury. You may be in a reporting role or risk function within a FS business. My client are keen to see individuals who are not too specialised, however you must have some exposure to treasury in a FS (preferably banking) environment. Managing a team of 3, key responsibilities will include:

- Ownership and maintenance of the Bank’s ALM system
- Liquidity Working Group MI reporting – including 90 day liquidity forecast validation
- ALCO pack preparation
- Significant input into regulatory liquidity and treasury assets reporting
- Daily monitoring of positions against internal and external policy limits
You will hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AMCT). This role may represent a step up or sideways, however you will be keen to progress. You will have excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues at all levels within the organisation and third party companies, dealing with confidential issues in a professional manner with tact, diplomacy and resilience.
