We are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a prestigious organisation in central Oxford for a period of maternity cover. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Procurement you will be responsible for providing financial and management accountant services for a range of projects they are currently working on, as well as supporting with the more general Financial Management, particularly at year-end.
Projects you will be actively involved with include:
*Integrating a new payroll system, working closely with HR
*Setting up invoice scanning
*Launching Direct Debits to members, working closely with the membership team
*Moving to a new payment gateway
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant with demonstrable finance project management experience. You will be a supportive team player, with great communication skills. It is essential that you have general ledger experience and are a confident Excel user. You will be a natural problem solver, with high attention to detail and will have an enthusiastic approach to taking responsibility for your tasks and seeing projects through to completion.
