A Finance Manager job in North London, responsible for supporting the business growth into Europe for this expanding construction business.

Your new role
Your Finance Manager role is brand new and is the result of a strategic review and restructure of duties within the current team and steady growth of the business unit over the years. You will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller who we recently placed, and a big part of the role will be supporting further development of the European portfolio and as such will take ownership and be responsible for Financial Accounting processes including statutory reporting, Group consolidations, balance sheet control and reporting, treasury support and cash management. The role will also take control of tax matters, specifically VAT and Construction Industry requirements, Corporation tax, capital allowances and R&D tax credit.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have strong academics and be a fully ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant from an Accountancy Practice, with a strong technical knowledge of UKGAAP and FRS102. In addition you'll have a good understanding of direct and indirect UK tax, especially in a construction or project environment. You'll also have excellent communication skills and the energy and charisma to fit into this uniquely high achieving yet family feel environment.
