Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

My client, a large public services organisation based in Birmingham, is looking for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis on an interim basis. The role will provide strategic support to operational directors and budget holders around budget management and analysis and delivery of key objectives on time and on budget. The role will also involve reporting to key internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience supporting the delivery of major, high value projects in a complex environment. You will have excellent communication skills, especially the ability to convey financial information to non-financial colleagues. You will have extensive experience with budget setting, planning and monitoring.
