Financial Controller

An industry leader and fast growing multinational is looking for a Financial Controller to join their tight knit and dynamic team, taking ownership of central reporting, processes and consolidating.

The key duties as part of this role are:

-Controlling the month end processes, reviewing variances and proposing improvements.
-Producing of the forecasts each quarter, liaising with project teams.
-Performing the balance sheet reconciliations with regular review.
-The management and development of a small team.
-Managing cash flow and cash flow forecasting, suggesting improvements and ensuring terms are followed correctly.
-Responsibility for the year end audit.
-Taking care of VAT & Corporate Tax
-Liaison with the Finance Business Partner ensuring up to date financial information is communicated.
-Setting the example for best practice and team relationships.
-Ensuring financial governance and controls are in place.

The ideal candidate would be:

-A Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
-Experience in leading and working as a team.
-Ability create lasting relationships across the team and communicate clearly.
-Ability to deliver results according to strict deadlines.
-Calm and focused under pressure
