Finance Systems and Compliance Accountant

Marks Sattin are currently working with a leading multi-channel distributor. This is an opportunity for a Part Qualified accountant to move into a Systems and Compliance role and away from technical accounts. The role has come about due to an internal promotion.

You will join the Systems and Compliance team as the Finance Systems and Compliance Accountant, reporting into the Head of Finance Systems. The company is in a period of change and there is a lot currently going on within this team and a lot of Systems changes to come. It is an excellent time to join the team, you will play a huge part in the changes to come and they have the time and resources to train you.

No two days will be the same in this position, it is a very unique opportunity for somebody to train in Systems and Compliance. The role will involve a lot of internal stakeholder management, it will be 1/3 directed towards compliance and 2/3rds towards systems.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Degree qualified
• Studying towards: ACCA, ACA or CIMA
• Have had varied experience that includes hands on accounting but also includes compliance activities.
• You will have had experience of interacting and communicating at all levels of an organisation.
• You will have an interest in systems and compliance.
