Graduate Finance Assistant Role - Sport (West London)

£22,000 - £24,000 plus benefits and study support

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a recent Finance and / or Accounting graduate with 1-3 years relevant accounting or finance experience to join a lively, expanding sports related company in West London as a Graduate Finance Assistant. The role will offer practical finance experience to run simultaneously with the professional accounting exams (ACCA or CIMA) which the company will  support.

Reporting into the Financial Controller responsibilities will include:

- Preparing / posting accounting journals 
- Liaising with Accounts Payable
- Reconciling balances and complete analysis of balance sheet items 

-Analysing cost reporting against budget
- Assisting in preparation of the annual statutory accounts 
- Bank reconciliations
- Inter-company billings / transfer pricing 
- Managing invoice process/payments 
- VAT returns 

Ideal candidates for the Graduate Finance Assistant role MUST have the  following skills and experience:
- A recent graduate with an Accounting / Finance related degree with 1-3 years relevant finance or accounting experience
- Willing to work towards the CIMA or ACCA formal qualification
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently

- an interest in sport

-Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
