A leading Insurance business based in the City of London are looking an Assistant Accountant to join them as soon as possible.
This Assistant Accounting role will encompass a broad remit - you will be s for for expense accounting and reporting, month end technical accounting - this will include bookkeeping of premiums, claims, commissions and reinsurance. You will also be reviewing AP entries and journals, preparing reconciliations and assisting with ad hoc tax duties.
It is essential that this Assistant Accountant has previous Underwriting Accountant experience, strong Excel skills and is preferably working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
