Commercial Business Analyst

Macildowie are delighted to be assisting a subsidiary of leading circa £1bn turnover business to recruit a Commercial Analyst. Reporting into the Commercial FC, this role will be responsible for providing timely and accurate management and performance information to drive site performance. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work closely with Senior Operational Leadership to drive strategy and inform decision making.

Responsibilities will include

Sales performance reporting - analysis margin, cost of sales etc.
Profitability analysis highlighting performance of both Customers and Products
Variance analysis - highlighting issues and areas for further 'deep dive' analysis
Active involvement in the budgeting and forecasting process for the site, working alongside the Commercial FC.
Business partnering - working cross functionally to bring performance figures 'to life' and help non finance stakeholders gain a deeper understanding of their numbers.
Contribute to wider business initiatives surrounding continuous improvement - efficiency gains, process redesign etc.

To be considered for this role you must be Finalist level or Newly Qualified ACCA/CIMA.
Previous manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
