Director of Financial Operations

Dynamic and highly entrepreneurial, globally recognised Media business is seeking a highly impressive Director of Financial Operations to play a key role in the ongoing maturing of this organisation.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and leading a sizeable teams, you will:

• Own and lead service delivery and controls through the local and offshored teams, working closely with each division
• Quickly build high quality relationships with senior internal stakeholders, influencing internal customers to ensure low cost service delivery
• Proactively evaluate strategic delivery options, defining balance of activities between inhouse, nearshore and farshore delivery
• Review and approve SOPs/Work Instructions for shared service centre activities
• Own the finance operations strategy and budget
• Maintain and review controls ensuring compliance with all group policies and processes

With in-depth experience of leading a shared service centre delivery function, you will have managed large teams, both on and offshore and have enhanced a finance operations reporting framework. As a natural leader, you will be able to inspire and influence the culture if the organisation to work effectively with shared services.
