Partner Designate

Partner Designate job at a well established, renowned chartered accountants in Mid Wales.

Your new company
The firm has been established in the area for decades and is the largest independent practice in Mid Wales - they have a range of clients including corporate and small businesses, farming businesses and sole traders. They currently have three partners and, with one looking to work as a consultant in the future, require someone to enter the firm with a view to partnership in the near future - most likely a two to three year progression. There are circa 25 full time staff in the firm.

Your new role
Working closely with the partners of the firm you will gradually take charge of a mixed portfolio - however should you have a background in the agricultural sector this would be of a benefit due to the nature of the clients and area. You will not be required to work on audits and will mainly focus on portfolio management and tax queries. The nature of partnership will require you to have a commercial acumen, an ability to people manage and a desire to take on the challenge of running an independent firm.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be an ACA or ACCA qualified chartered accountant, with ideally three years post qualification experience. Commercial engagement and an ability to network effectively and win new business would be beneficial however it is imperative that you can liaise professionally and amicably with long-standing clients and get to know their businesses quickly.
