Finance Analyst

The Company

Brewster Pratap are recruiting for a large retail business in Doncaster who are looking for a Finance Analyst

The Job

The job will report to the Commercial Finance Manager and will be responsible for sales and profitability reporting, variance analysis and commentary

Analyse sales, margin and inventory results and report on performance of all Business Teams and countries

Review product costing, cost overheads, cost absorption and other data utilised by costing to ensure product cost accuracy

Analyse margin by Business Team and by customer on a monthly basis in total and down to item where necessary

Manage inventory obsolescence exposure and review Excess inventory

Responsible for analysing and reporting KPIs

Ensure accuracy, relevance and value add of monthly reporting

Continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and costing processes

The Person

Part qualified, qualified or qualified by experience Accountant. You will need a background in analysis and reporting with the ability to work under pressure. You will need strong Excel skills, be a keen problem solver, logical and strong numeric skills
