Tax Accountant

Looking to build your career in tax? Macildowie are supporting one of our clients in Burton-on-Trent to recruit a Part-Qualified Tax Accountant in to their team on a permanent basis. The Tax Manager is looking for someone who has a clear long-term ambition to work in tax so those who are looking to study CTA will be ideal for the role.

Our client are offering a salary of £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience and qualifications with strong benefits including a generous bonus scheme and holiday allowance.

Reporting to the Tax Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Coordinate the annual process for the preparation of corporation tax computations
- Assist with the preparation of tax entries for half year and full year Group accounts and statutory accounts
- Assist with the review of procedures and controls across all relevant UK taxes to support reporting and implement improvements
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of transfer pricing policies
- Prepare the annual P11D and PSA returns and work with the Finance and HR teams
- Assist with research and implementation of tax planning projects
- Support the Tax Manager with HMRC investigations, claims and elections

Experience required:

- Knowledge of corporation tax regulations desirable
- CTA studiers preferred
