I am currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a growing technology business. You must be immediately available or on 1 week notice for a Maternity cover of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Support the FC to develop the transactional finance team and build capabilities
- Manage the month end reporting process to deliver timely and accurate information
- Lead the year end audit process and statutory reporting
- Develop VAT compliance and complete UK VAT returns
- Document financial processes and procedures and monitor compliance
- Maintain integrity of balance sheets through use of controls and reconciliation
- Actively partner operational management and build decision support
- Introduce best practice to promote efficiency in financial operations
Skills:
- Qualified accountant(ACCA, ACA, ACMA) ideally 2-3+ years PQE
- Worked in an SME environment
- Strong process and service mindset
- Sound people management skills
- Able to establish credibility with finance and non-finance staff
- Sound knowledge of accounting and qualified accountant
- Experience of using NAVISION advantageous
