Management Accountant

The SF Group are currently searching for an experienced Management Accountant to join a Global Company in Derbyshire. This business has an excellent reputation in its field and and is known as one of the Best Employers across Derbyshire. Due to their continued growth they have undergone a restructure and are now looking to strengthen their finance team with an extra Management Accountant.

The role will suit an operational management accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will have full ownership of the P&L of a division of the business and therefore a lot of responsibility and accountability. If you are looking to step towards to a Financial Controller or Finance Director role in the future then this could be the perfect stepping stone to get there.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Produce monthly management accounts for a division of the business
• Provide commentary and feedback including commercial analysis to department heads 
• Manage a CIMA studying assistant accountant
• Work with stakeholders to ensure that forecasting is understood across the business and provide support when needed
• Provide commercial input when required in key business decisions

Skills and experience:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Experience of preparing a full set of management accounts
• Strong financial awareness
• Strong Commercial acumen
• Ability to successfully manipulate data and provide accurate and timely reporting
• Excellent forecasting and budgeting skills

A salary of up to £45,000 is on offer to the right candidate as well as a career path that will lead you towards an FC role within the organisation.
