Internal Auditor

Churchill Howard are working with a global infrastructure business to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor as part of a strategic plan to join a best in class audit function.

As a Senior Auditor, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering and reporting on a programme of complex audits across the business so an ability to analyse and prioritise is required. In addition you will provide reliable and independent assurance on the design and effectiveness of the control framework. You will also help to develop other members of the team through strong coaching and mentoring and be able to lead and work as part of small teams on various projects.

To be successful, you will be a qualified accountant (ideally ACA) with a number of years relevant audit experience gained within a Big 4 practice or industry with demonstration of development since qualification. You will be interfacing at all levels across the business and as such, will need to demonstrate extremely strong interpersonal and business partnering skills together with the ability to balance influence and challenge effectively. Producing and presenting high quality reports also requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. There is circa 25% UK travel within the role - but this dos not require extensive stay away time and if needed you can travel back home during these projects.
