Financial Modeller

An internationally recognised high-end construction / property firm is looking to recruit a commercial astute Financial Modeler / Analyst.

Reporting directly into the Financial & Investment Director your modelling, appraisals, scenario modelling, due diligence and market research will have a significant influence on both UK and International strategy and development.

Duties include:

* Financial modelling to provide Risk Assessment, Investment Performance and Return on Investments
* Financial modelling to support and / or challenge key assumptions
* Preparation of Business Plans, Cash-Flow Models & Project Budgets
* Commercial Appraisals and Business Planning for new developments and newly acquired pieces to the portfolio
* Provide Financial Models to influence & direct strategy
* Interrogate & question external market research and analysis
* Working with The Board and Development Team on market trends, project projections & product pricing
* Provide Financial Modelling to maximise total returns on assets & developments and identify opportunities to improve performance
* Due diligence on investments

Candidate specification

* Degree minimum from respected University in a mathematics based subject
* CIMA, CFA, ACA, ACCA or MBA
* Numerous years experience in Financial Modelling
* Scenario and sensitivity based analysis & modelling
* Construction or Property (ideal not essential)
* Strong data analytical skills
* Advanced Excel - VBA and Financial Modelling
* Commercial awareness
* Strong leadership skills
* Problem solver
