Interim Management Accountant

Our client, a leading services organisation based in West Sussex are seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join their diverse and successful team.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

* Prepare and review monthly management accounts ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements and to provide insightful analysis on variances against targets.
* Responsibility for reconciling divisional balance sheet accounts and preparation of audit support.
* Prepare and review budgets and forecasts for the Division/Sectors in co-operation with the relevant Operational Directors/Managers
* Submission of Budgets / Forecasts into Group software and assist in preparation of supporting pack.
* Customer Contract or Sector Profitability:
* Co-ordination for all Debt payment issues, liaising with Operational Directors/Managers to ensure swift resolution to any issues.
* Monitor and report Debt related KPI's
* Provide assistance in tenders and costings as appropriate
* Ensure rechargeable costs are invoiced to the customer
* Ad-hoc analysis of various costs
* Promote best practice throughout the Division/Sectors
* Assist in assessing submitted capital expenditure proposals

* Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA preferred
* Experience of preparing, reviewing and interpreting Management Accounts essential
* Experience of budgeting and forecasting essential (use of Prophix or similar tool preferable)
* Knowledge of SAP accounting system preferred
* Good PC systems skills to include Excel to an advanced level
* Excellent analytical skills
