SOX & Compliance Manager

A rapidly growing consumer goods business, based in West London, is looking to recruit a SOX & Compliance Manager.

The Group is going through an exciting period of change. There is a clear strategy in place for further growth. The Group has plans to continue to grow organically, whilst pursuing strategic acquisitions to build a best-in-class food company. By virtue of the Group's listing on the New York Stock Exchange, the business needs to comply with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. To that end they require a SOX/ Compliance Manager to manage this process.

The role will work with the Head of Internal Audit and our external SOX consultants to ensure management's controls are adequate and complete, assist management in determining "key" controls to be tested, coordinate the testing of assigned significant processes/accounts, assist in the evaluation of the design and operating effectiveness of internal financial controls and the assessment of deficiencies identified, monitor management's implementation of corrective actions through remediation and provide periodic reporting of gaps to management in conjunction with PMO.

This role will have one direct report and will suit a Qualified Accountant
