Audit Senior

An excellent opportunity for an Audit Senior has become available in a growing Top 20 firm, based in the city of London. Working with a varied client portfolio, this role will require the successful candidate to take responsibility for ensuring that quality client service is delivered throughout the entire audit process.

The successful individual will be confident with conversing with people at different levels and departments within the firm. The successful candidate will also manage complex problems and issues surrounding deadlines, budgets and resources.

Responsibilities:

• Thorough planning of audits including identifying potential difficulties and finding ways to overcome them
• Ensuring that the correct tests are utilised throughout the audit
• Supervision of junior members of staff and monitoring their progress
• Review complex sets of accounts that were completed by junior members of staff
• Offer guidance and technical advice and training where required to junior staff
• Relaying all important information to audit managers or principals

Requirements:

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
• Solid experience of leading audit teams from planning through to completion
• Experience of preparing and reviewing sets of accounts
• Excellent communication skills
