Financial Controller

My client is a leading health and well-being business based in London. The company focusses on well-being, food products, supplements and clothing.

They are PE backed and currently at £4m t/o and growing, the finance function has historically been outsourced, but it it now being brought in house and offers a progressive & commercial minded accountant the opportunity to be the right hand man to the managing director of the business.

They seek somebody to up-scale their management and financial accounting information to help them make real commercial decisions. The key responsibilities will be to prepare management accounts, working with large data sets to identify trends, month end financial close and reporting, KPI Development and tracking along wit ha lot of ad-hoc project work.

This is an all-round financial controller role, with the opportunity to make this into a Finance Director position if the growth of the business continues.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who has experience in a start-up or SME environment. From a personality perspective, you must demonstrate that you are ambitious and keen to work in an entrepreneurial environment with top calibre professionals with a passion for the health and lifestyle industry.
