Overview

We Got POP is a high growth film technology start-up based in London. Over the past three years we have built a game-changing technology platform used across a range of top films and TV productions, credits include Spectre and Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. As we enter a period of rapid growth, we need to strengthen our team.

We are extending the platform functionality to offer crew management services and expand into new territories. As we enter a period of rapid growth, we need to strengthen our team.

We are looking to add a key player to the Back Office Team. Someone with payroll administration experience and a love of film and technology. We are looking for a strong team player, who pays great attention to detail, who loves organising and keeping things in good order. Film industry experience is a bonus but not a requirement.

The role will largely be focused on administering the large casting payrolls that we run every week but there may be opportunity to get involved across other payrolls, as the product is built out. 


Responsibilities

Payroll Administration

Administer POP’s casting payroll:
•    Carry out established back office processes and work with Finance Manager to improve them
•    Enter salary vouchers received
•    Liaise with agent/agency clients and manage all payment reviews, including responding to and following up on artist and hirer queries raised
•    Raise invoices and monitor outstanding payments due from hirers
•    Manage all artist weekly payrolls, including reconciliation of client account funds
•    Establish and maintain good working relationship with production accountants and payment teams at production companies and agencies
•    Assisting with creation of manuals and documentation relevant to back office
•    Manage artist registration from back office perspective including internal support on right to work and other payment queries
 Casting Payroll Support
First line of support for all clients using the casting back office:
•    Onboarding accounts personnel
•    Supporting accounts personnel
•    Supporting agents, agencies on back office processes
•    Implementing feedback process 

Back Office Administration

Manage the effective running of POP’s back office:
•    General book keeping and supplier payments
•    Answering phones and artist emails as required
•    Assisting the Finance / Operations Manager with various projects
Office Management
Manage the effective running of POP’s office:
•    Responsible for general office administration and management of space including planning and co-ordinating office improvments
•    Admin support for directors and team including booking travel and meetings 

Requirements

•    Experience with payroll administration, preferably in a payroll company
•    Confident with back office administration: invoicing/accounts receivables, accounts payable, VAT and general accounting principles
•    Exceptionally organised
•    Diligent with an eye for detail
•    Work well under pressure with a problem solving attitude
•    Great team player
•    Excellent computer skills
•    Good working knowledge of Excel
