Credit controler

A large business with a busy and vibrant finance team based in Wakefield is currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join on a contract bases. The business has parking and is situated near the train station, so has good transport links from all across Yorkshire.

Initially the role will be offered as a 6 month contract but has a very good chance to develop into a permanent position.

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Bring in aged debt via phone, email and post
• Credit Risk Assessment for new accounts and limit increases.
• Maintain customer accounts within credit terms and credit limits.
• Query resolutions via dispute management system.
• Review customer held orders.
• Cash flow forecasting.
• Aged debt review reporting.
• Month end debtor reporting.
• Customer and site visits.

Ideally you will have experience working within a credit control position dealing with a large number of active accounts and a good track history of bringing debt in/reducing aged debt. A good telephone manor with a professional and courteous approach to credit control is essential.
