Brewster Pratap are currently recruiting Purchase Ledger Supervisor/Manager for a leading organisation in York. This business are one of the fastest growing in Yorkshire. The company is ideally situated for people living in York, Leeds, Harrogate, Selby and Goole. Previous purchase Ledger management or Finance Management of a wider Accounts function is essential. There is free on site parking but it is also walking distance from York train station.
The Job:
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will managing the team of 3 purchase ledger clerks along with:
- Implement new policies and procedures
- Ensure that procedures are communicated and rolled out across the wider business
- Manage the integration of business acquisitions
- Over seeing the processing high volumes of purchase invoices.
- Assist with the reconciliation of supplier statements
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Approve and process Bacs and cheque payments
- 121's meetings with the team
The Person:
You will have previous experience in an accounts supervisory or management position.
