A leading brokerage company is currently recruiting for a Payroll Consultant to join their Finance Operations team for an initial 3 month contract.
Working for a leading company, you will be responsible for coordinating various payrolls globally, which will include collating employee/payroll related data as well as executing process improvements that can be rolled out within the company.
Key Accountabilities
- Input and process the monthly manual payments, to indivduals and external vendors
- Co-ordinate the end to end payroll process in line with relevant laws and procedures in the UK
- Be responsible for completing and sending the monthly payroll data, to the payroll provider before the monthly cut -off
- Meet all deadlines for payroll transmission and reporting
- Liaise with the payroll providers regarding data issues
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers where applicable to ensure they are working at agreed service labels
- Be the primary point of contact for Payroll and audit queries
- Work with the operations team to resolve any data integration issues
- Liaise with the internal tax team and 3rd party advisors, regarding employees UK tax and any HMRC rule changes
- Process monthly earnings
- Coordinate the payroll process in the UK with auto enrolment pensions procedures
- Create pay elements as needed including deductions and tax filing/withholding requirements
- Check Payroll inputs per pay group
- Ensure that all year on year payroll tasks for each country are completed
