Interim Finance Business Analyst

Robertson Bell Finance are currently recruiting for an interim Finance Business Analyst. We are currently working alongside a well-established public sector organisation who have a Maternity cover vacancy for an Interim Finance Business Analyst to join them for a minimum of 12months.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Analyst who will be reporting into the Head of Management Reporting. This is an important and essential part of the Finance team with the organisations corporate services directorate. This role is split between financial modelling and business partnering with responsibilities including;

Financial Modelling
*Managing the cash flow models
*Forecasts for multiple funding streams
*Within the wider management accounts team you will collaboratively ensure the cash flow models are efficiently working against the current year forecast and the 5 year business plan
*You must be able to ensure that the cash flow is aligned with the strategic objectives set by senior management within the organisation.
*Adjacent to this you should be able to review the financial models and constantly looking for improvements/changes against noticing the repetitive trends that occur.

Business Partnering
*You should establish yourself as a key contact for the management accounts team to the wider business
*Be able to build strong working relationships.
*To be able to lead on producing the monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
*In addition to this you will also be responsible for reviewing applications of business plans or internal business cases.
*You may will have other Ad-Hoc responsibilities due to business demands this may fluctuate.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong financial modelling experience and a proven track record of business partnering. You will be personable with excellent communication skills that has the ability to build rapport with budget holders in a warm engaging but often challenging manor. You must have the ability to prioritise work and to work to tight deadlines. My client is open to applicants from all sectors.
