Senior Internal Auditor

Leading firm due to expansion is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor in Manchester city centre.

Your new company
We are currently working a leading independent firm in central Manchester who due to the success of their internal audit function they are seeking to expand the team, and have multiple vacancies from Assistant manager to Manager. The team are dedicated to providing a high quality service to their clients and are broad-ranging from training and consultancy, to the voluntary and public sector, including social housing providers, charities and education.

Your new role

You will lead audits at both strategic and operational levels and will be required to produce your own high quality reports. With the ability to work independently you will support your team in the delivery of client audit plans, through involvement in planning and scoping, reviewing staff reports and supervising and coaching staff to ensure the delivery of a high quality audit service. There are also opportunities to be able to manage the planning and scoping work for small clients and get involved in consultancy work and investigations, as well as the opportunity to be involved in line management of junior staff.

What you'll need to succeed
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual possessing at least 4 years' internal audit experience and who is professionally qualified. CIIA qualifications are preferred, but not essential. . This position requires extensive travel and overnight stays throughout the country.
