Operating from an impressive site close to Manchester City Centre, my client is seeking a CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified candidate to join the Senior Management Team as the Financial Controller. You will possess strong private sector experience, have multi-site experience, be a skilled people manager with strong inter-personal skills, and be keen to have both an operational and strategic input into this growing sports business.
Reporting directly to a charismatic, talented and supportive Chief Operating Officer who has a great track record of developing her staff, you will become a key member of the Senior Management team. Your duties will comprise of preparing and managing significant Budgets within a large and complex business, developing the MI reporting pack inclusive of Management Accounts and financial and non-financial KPI's, preparing financial accounts and managing a small finance team. Additionally, you will gain the opportunity to develop your strategic exposure, directly supporting the COO in driving growth and future initiatives. As Financial Controller, you will develop key relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
