Management Accountant

Are you a newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) looking for a challenging role within industry? Would you like to be part of a world class finance function working for a global manufacturing business based in Hull?

If so, Elevation Senior Finance are looking to recruit an ambitious management accountant who is committed to adding value and producing accurate and insightful numbers and reports.

Key activities will include accurate monthly reporting of revenues and costs, production of profit and loss account reporting, variance analysis, and the timely and accurate reconciliation of associated balance sheet accounts.

In addition, the jobholder will be required to proactively drive forward various ad-hoc developments or projects related to improving the financial reporting, control and profit impact of the above areas.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

*Production of monthly management accounts
*Provide financial insight and analysis to departmental managers
*Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
*Provide information for internal and external audit queries
*VAT preparation and analysis
*Ad hoc duties as required

The successful management accountant will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

*ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified
*Ability to produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts
*Ability to analyse data and investigate where data is missing or incorrect
*Communicates complicated ideas simply and tailored to the audience
*Planned and organised in order to balance multiple priorities
*Adaptable and able to pick new concepts up quickly
*Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, vlookup, sumifs, complex formulas etc.)
