Financial Controller

Reporting to the Managing Director, this is an autonomous role with a broad remit that covers all aspects of financial, management and statutory accounting.  Overseeing a small team, you will be responsible for analysing financial performance, cash flow management and forecasting, monthly and annual budgeting and financial reporting,  You will be responsible for managing the Year End process and liaising with auditors.  The role will also involve ad hoc analysis to provide valuable insight into costs, sales and margins. There will be continual review of processes and procedures as well as working closely with the wider business to drive financial performance.  This role requires someone with strong mentoring and stakeholder management skills, someone with a customer-centric approach and someone who can work well independently and mutli-task.  Strong Excel skills essential.
